LU-VE Group appoints a General Manager

Uboldo (Varese), 23 February 2023 – LU-VE S.p.A. announces the appointment of Riccardo Quattrini as General Manager of the Group as of April 1, 2023, resolved by the Board of Directors at today’s meeting upon the proposal of the President and CEO Matteo Liberali and the COO Michele Faggioli, after consulting the Remuneration and Appointments Committee and the Board of Statutory Auditors.

Mr Quattrini – who in his role as General Manager will work in support of the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and the COO – has been assigned the powers relating to ordinary management.

Summary profile of the General Manager

After earning a degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on management at the Politecnico delle Marches and a Master’s in business management at the ISTUD of Stresa, Riccardo Quattrini gained experience as a manager, working for over 25 years in Italian companies, mainly active in the engineering industry with an international vocation. Throughout his career he has covered both technical and strategic/commercial roles.

In 2000 he began his collaboration with Biesse Group S.p.A., a company listed on Euronext STAR Milan, covering various roles (engineering director, brand manager, sales and marketing director). In 2010 he joined the Cefra Group, with which he collaborated until 2017, finally holdong the role of CEO. After a spell as general manager in Aetna Group and IFI S.p.A., in 2019 he returned to Biesse Group to first hold the position of director of the wood-industrial division and subsequently, from 2021, that of Group Chief Product Strategy & Development Officer leading the Offering (product, applied research and design and placing on the market) and also following consultancy and project management for large plants.
