FINALISTS OF THE ETHICS AND ENTERPRISE AWARDS 2008

LU-VE SpA has won through to the final selection phase of the 2008 edition of the award for:

ETHICS AND ENTERPRISE 2008

On the 30th of January, the Organizing Committee of “Ethics and Enterprise” will present awards for best trade union agreements and best participatory, planning and social dialogue practices under the headings:

• Health and Safety at Work,
• Social Responsibility of Business,
• Advanced Skills Training,
• Managerial Training,
• Citizen and Society.

The aim of the Award is to encourage the emergence of a valuable new model of business which is based on advanced industrial relations and is capable of combining the protection and development of employees in general - and knowledge workers in particular - with the requirements of competitiveness and company growth.


The Organizing Committee is made up of:

• Agenquadri CGIL (Italian General Federation of Labour)
• Associazione Italiana Direttori del Personale – AIDP (Italian Association of Personnel Directors)
• Associazione Progetto Quadri APQ – CISL (Italian Confederation of Trade Unions)
• Confederazione Italiana Quadri CIQ – UIL (Italian Conferderation of Middle Managers – Italian
Labour Union)
• Federmanagement. (Italian Federation of Managers and Professionals).


The 2008 award has received, for the second year running, a medal from the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano. The award is under the patronage of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Minister of Employment, Health and Social Policies.
The companies and organizations which have been admitted to the final phase are: Acquedotto Pugliese SpA, Banca di Credito Cooperativo di Pianfei e Rocca de' Baldi, Bensos, Comune di Lauria, Comune di Milano, Del Giudice Srl, Elica SpA, I.GE.M.A.S. Scarl, Indesit Company SpA, LU-VE SpA, Manpower Formazione SpA, Medilife SpA, Poste Italiane SpA, Provincia di Milano, RGA Consulting.
The name of the winner will be made public on Friday, 30th January 2009 at the ceremony which will be held in Rome in the Library Chamber of CNEL (National Council for the Economy and Employment).
