LU-VE SpA OBTAINS ASME CERTIFICATION

On the 22nd of May 2013, LU-VE SpA obtained ASME (American Association of Mechanical Engineers) certification for production in the Uboldo (Varese) facility of pressure vessels - “Boiler and Pressure Vessels Code”. ASME released official communication of this on the 30th of May, issuing LU-VE SpA with certificate “U 44,717”.
ASME certification is required for all pressure components (tubes, tanks, boilers, nuclear components, etc) used in the USA, Canada, Mexico and in more than 80 other countries throughout the world (for example, Saudia Arabia, Kuwait, Oman).
In 2002, LU-VE had already achieved the analogous PED certification regulated by European Directive 97/23/EC, which covers the safe design, fitting and installation of pressure equipment.
